Category abuse is either deleting proper categories or adding improper use of Categories that don't fit well for an Article. This is also linked to spam and Vandalism.
It is one of the most serious offenses.
Things that can be defined as Category Abuse:
- Adding unnecessary categories for no reason.
- Deleting Proper Categories.
- Making Categories just to use them as hate, to offend people in any way, insult or to cause Drama or Toxicity.
- Not using Categories Responsibly.
- Spamming random Categories that are not related to an Article.
Consequences
Unadding an category without a good reason could and will lead to a fight (known as an "Category war"), so it is a good idea to discuss beforehand.
Any random (nonsensical) Categories will be deleted.
If you Abuse an Category in an Article, You get a warning. If you do it the second time for no reason, you'll get instantly banned.
This rule should be strictly followed. If you break this rule for no reason or for no good reason, you will be instantly Banned.
