Buttontale is an Underswap/Coraline crossover with cameo characters from a few other AUs, such as Underfell Sans, Undertale Chara and Undertale Sans.
Sans and Papyrus lived happily in New Home with their father, Gaster, until he passed away. Papyrus was unable to afford the keep their father's house so he sold it and used the money from both the house and Gaster's life insurance to move him and Sans out to the Pink Palace apartments in Snowdin.
After Gaster's death, Papyrus took legal guardianship of Sans, since Sans is only ten at the time of the story. The sudden responsibility of taking care of Sans and being the sole provider for them both has taken its toll on Papyrus, leaving him almost no time or energy to spend with Sans. Sans is still a bit too young to fully grasp the situation Papyrus is in, and is unhappy with the change in their dynamic as brothers. It is then that Sans discovers the door...

Characters[]
There is no Frisk in this AU. Instead of Frisk, Underswap Sans takes the role of the main character.
Underswap Sans - Coraline. He is ten years old and like exploring and photography.
Underswap Papyrus- Sans's legal guardian and older brother. He is the sole provider for the Skeleton brothers.
Asriel- Wybie.
Toriel- Wybie's Grandmother.
Muffet- Mr. Bobinsky.
Mettaton and Napstaton- Miss Spink and Forcible.
Flowey- The Cat. The AU creator does not use the Annoying Dog or Temmie because both characters are based on real people.
Chara, Classic Sans and Underfell Sans- The Ghost Children.
Other Brother - The Other Mother AKA The Beldam. He takes on the form of Papyrus.
