Critical Failure!Sans is a Timeline Destroyer, created by Darksirrlottoe or now known as Karmaharmahasreturnfromthedead or just Karma. He is an Out!code, who was abandoned by Ink!Sans, due to some complications with Error!Sans, and ended up forgetting about Critical Failure!Sans, and was later on found by Error!Sans, who took him in, as his apprentice or student. Critical Failure!Sans formerly despised Ink and all of his creations, viewing them all as filthy failures, that can only be cleansed by destroying or erasing them from the Multiverse, and will do mostly any means to destroy the so called failures.

Backstory[]

Critical Failure was met to be a co-protector for Ink, as Ink had planned to create someone who could defend the Aus against Error for Ink, while Ink would just create more Aus, while the co-protector would protect the Aus, but Error ended up finding out about this, and stopped Ink before he could, but failed to kill Ink's still working progress creation, but because it wasn't finished yet, Critical ended up being transported to the Critical!Void/Multiversal Wasteland with no memory of what had happened, but he did remember about Ink, and believed that Ink had abandoned him in mid creation for no reason, all because he wasn't what Ink had wanted, and his hatred grew the longer he stood in the Critical Void all alone, but this isolation would have eventually driven him into insanity from the constant silence and loneliness of the Critical!Void.

He was found by Error, who had no clue that this Sans was the very Sans that was met to fight him and protect the AUs against him, but what Error did see was Critical's unreasonable hatred towards Ink, and would take him in as his former student, and manipulate Critical into hating Ink even more and all what Ink had created, but because of the amount of time Critical spent within the Anti-Void, he became an error, just like what had happened to Error!Sans, and this only made him even more insane then before, and this would all eventually lead to how he is currently like.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

Critical Failure is a slightly, but still visibly grey skeleton, who's finger tips are pure black, and is constantly smiling with an eerie and creepy smile. His left eye has just a light grey dot, ad his right has a light outer grey ring, and has a white dot in the middle. His jacket reassembles Error's long coat, excepts with no stitches. The end of his jacket sleeves are white and become black at the elbow area. The bottom of his jacket is faintly white, and is nearly the same length as Error!Sans's jacket.

His shirt is black at the bottom, but fades to white as it get's closer to his head. He wears a plain white scarf, both ends being behind him. His fur hoodie is dark grey on the outside, and black in the inside. If the background of his eye socket is observed closely and carefully. They seem to have statics in the background. He has what appears to be grey tears on his face. His pants are black that has white on the end of it. He wears black socks and static white slippers. Surrounding him are statics and the word "Failure" or "Critical", and might at times have exclamation around or on him.

Personality[]

Critical hides his true nature by acting charming and persuasive, but underneath that faulty nature, he is an extremely sassy and sarcastic skeleton, who at one point once loved to show and throw around his dominance or superiority over others and Critical is still smug even now and he also holds a rather questionable loyalty to Error and the two naturally don't seem to like one another and often get into full blown arguments. He considers everyone he meets as a "failure" or "abomination", but in a much more milder fashion then before.

Critical at one point took great pleasure in making others miserable, and would commonly harass and bully anyone he met without mercy and would show no respect towards anyone not even those stronger then him, and he would outright murder his victim if they showed retaliation. He was cruel and twisted back then, but now he is quite respectful and no long a sadistic narcissist as before, but he does now have a very well known reputation for manipulating others into doing what he wants, but he does holds some sense of good in him now as he had been known to leave AUs and its residence alone at times and even talk to them.

Although Critical is tremendously smug and prideful of his own power and is quite arrogant about it, and he is very aware of his arrogance, but does nothing to fix that. However this prideful nature does not go to the extent of stupidity and he is also highly aware about the fact that some people might try to exploit his pride and arrogance. He isn't an idiot, and can tell when his being tricked or attempted to be manipulated. Critical may not show it, but he is highly intelligent, calculating, and very cautious of what he does and he has a very high tolerant over his own or other's mistakes unlike before.

Critical deeply hated Ink for a very long time, but over the course of time this hatred would soften up to the point where one another could be in the same room without fighting to the death and can even hang out sometimes.

Abilities[]

Critical Cable: Similar to Error's cables, Critical can create cables and use them to grapple his opponent and he has gotten quite skillful with it and even more so then Error, but this cable is capable of copying other coding and even recreate a mimic of the original source, but the copy is far weaker then the original source, only having 1 - 99 point to every stat, but these copy are also connected to its source still and can also damage its direct source if it gets hurt to.

These cables are made from solidified coding and thus they can't be destroyed by physical means, but can be destroy via non-solid magic and any other form of power that isn't physical, but if these Cables were to strike someone down then they don't actually die, but instead they become something known as a Servant in which Critical has complete control over them, but once again they are drastically weaker.

Critical Blasters: Typically the same as a normal Gaster Blaster, but larger and lagy, but has a unique property of instead of harming the victim, it shrinks the HP bar down and it does have the potential of killing, but if the opponent has no HP, the beam will heal, but then take away the HP it has given, once the victim has a single point of HP. The beam of the blaster can range from white, light grey, dark grey, and black and each has their own unique effects.

  • White Beam: A standard beam that acts like every other beam from a normal gaster blaster.
  • Light Grey Beam: The light grey beam purely deals KR damage and can turn one's entire HP in KR if they are hit for long enough by this beam.
  • Dark Grey Beam: The dark grey beam does solely physical damage and can push back any foe if hit as this beam is more solid then the others are.
  • Black Beam: The black beam is similar to a black whole as anything that gets to close with be sucked into it.

Au Lag: He can forcefully glitch himself into another AU via Lag Manipulation, but in doing this will leave a possible permanent glitch mark behind from where he came from.

Lag Manipulation: He holds the power to generate lag at will and can cause the player's game to either boot them out, blue screen, or even manifest a computer virus. This power can even effect Glitches such as Fatal Error or even Error and can cause them to forcibly "crash" temporarily and for weaker Glitches it can cause them to quite literally disappear from existence for a randomized amount of time at best case, but at worse it can literally delete them.

He can use this ability to even erase entire AUs, but other then that it is only dangerous towards any Glitched entity or player playing a game as any being that isn't glitched is safe from this power since they have no error code in them like Glitches do.

Code Manipulation: He can manipulate the codes of any being that isn't a Glitch and can erase certain coding, rewrite coding, edit coding, and do much more with this ability and this ability goes to the extent of even allowing him to perform a "True Reset" within the AU even if the player's character is there or he can use this said ability to erase the whole AU. This ability goes to the level of even allowing him to create whole AU into his liking which he has done once before, but the AU wasn't very pretty to say the least.

He can also solidify codes and use them as attacks. A prime example being the cables he creates seemingly from his fingers, but another example is the spears he can create with these solid codings and these spears are much more dangerous then your normal spears as this spear directly attacks one's coding.

Similar to his ability to Manipulate and generate lag, this power effects solely non-glitched entities and vise versa, but he'll need to get an example of his attended target's coding in order to manipulate their coding.

Inability of Dying: He can't truly die, because of him never being fully completed, and if he was to be killed, then he will reincarnate in the Critical!Void

Bone Manipulation: Can manifest a glitchy bone, that can screw up the frame rate, one's sense of reality, and screen, but these bones can appear as the color of either white, light grey, dark grey, and black although he has no control over the bone's coloring and they come out randomized, but he could possibly learn one day to control what type of bone he would want to use.

  • White: Acts like the normal bone that most Sanses uses.
  • Light Grey: Where this bone goes. It will cause the screen the freeze up or cause one to lose their touch in reality by distorting it around them.
  • Dark Grey: This bone will constant produce a massive amount of static blocks and fog up one's view.
  • Black: This bone is a combination of both the light and dark grey as it both freezes up the screen, ruins one's sense of reality, and fog up one's point of view from all static blocks.

Weaknesses[]

  • Combat Inexperience: Due to him being so young, he is very new at the terms of combat and as such he isn't the best at it and is somewhat weak for a Glitch due to him having no idea how to control his abilities that well.
  • Lag: Unfortunately for Critical. He to lags at times like how Error does, but at a more often rate.
  • Provoked First: Critical doesn't attack first and only attacks back when his provoked to do so.

Relationships[]

Error!Sans[]

Critical views Error as a massive failure within the Multiverse. Their relationship towards each other can be that of respect for one another, to intense hateful rivalry to each other, which can lead to verbal or even physical fights with each other, but even with that type of relationship with Error, Critical is still seemingly loyal to Error, as he is the one who saved him from the Critical Void and taught him what Error knew, though Critical shows no respect towards Error whatsoever and is very b*tchy and sassy to Error every time they have to talk to one another, and usually insults Error at every opportunity that Critical can find.

In general neither appreciate nor like being around one another and usually stay away from each other as much as possible.

Ink!Sans[]

Critical has a rather worried relationship with Ink as Critical at one point couldn't even stand to see an image of Ink and would usually throw a tantrum every time he was defeated by Ink, but like mentioned earlier, his hatred for Ink began fading and both seem to be able to stand one another now and even go so far to even hanging out with one another as Critical does like to drew similar to Ink. The two nowadays either play a board game with one another or do a competition in who's the better artist in which Ink usually wins these drawing contest, but in return always loses these board games.

They are rather chill with one another, but they do still fight at times since Critical is a Destroyer still and Ink is a Creator which causes a ying-yang effect in which they fight, but always in the end they both forfeit and leave in peace.

CORE!Frisk[]

Critical has met CORE countless times and have spoken with one another many times. The two are rather good friends with each other and Critical at times even ask for their advise when he can't decide on something and CORE is the main reason why Critical became more mature. Critical deeply trusts CORE and is probably one of his only real friends he still has and trusts.

At this point of time CORE is more of a mentor then Error is to him.
