SS!Underswap, or Sensational Studios' Underswap, is a take of the AU Underswap, by Sensational. The AU does not swap personalities. Instead, it focuses on the original character personalities of each role and has major changes to plot devices of the story. Besides the characters that swap in the original, it swaps much more, like the monsters you encounter.

Chara
Chara is a human who fell into the Underground. They have the soul of Persistence and are the Protagonist of SS!Underswap. Their items are the Rusted Blade and Warn Bandanna.
Temmie
Asgore Sprite by Piggie2023
Temmie is the lovable Tem who thinks Chara is cute and offers them Tem Flakes. Themes: H0I I am TEMmI3!
Asgore
Asgore is the caretaker of the Forgotten Catacombs. He watches over the monsters of the Forgotten Catacombs and enjoys gardening and tea drinking. Themes: Rise Young One, Der Vergessene König, Asgore, Fallen King.
Mad Dummy
The Mad Dummy is a trouble maker in the Catacombs, causing problems which Asgore has to rectify. He is always running short of his knives, which he uses to threaten does who he deems 'futile, Futile, FUTILE!'. He encounters Chara several times and threatens them to no avail on his behalf. He also lives with his cousin Happi in the Catacombs and puts down Happi's dreams of becoming a star to avoid him taking his intended future plans. Themes: Knife Fight

Happi (Hapstablook)
Happi is the Forgotten Catacomb's show host. His ambition is to reach stardom and to one day become as popular as his cousin. Themes: The Happy Ghost!, Ghost and Glamour
Papyrus
Papyrus is a friendly, trustworthy and amiable monster who wants to help Chara on their way back home. He retains his "great" attitudes.
Sans
Sans is still lazy yet has interest in capturing Chara. Themes: Boondoggling.

The Forgotten Catacombs replaced the Ruins are the first area of SS!Underswap. Themes: Forgotten Catacombs.
