Undertinge is an Undertale AU by TeamTinge which explores the concept of 'Dark Magic' in monsters. When the monsters were defeated by the humans, the humans cursed the monsters with Black Magic, that the monsters absorb. Imbued with this magic, the monsters began rituals and the Underground slowly encroached into complete darkness, with only a few scattered lights to shine in the darkened catacombs.
Changes[]
Undertinge has many changes:
- The colors purple and black are used very often.
- Monsters are quieter, and only a few are talkative.
- On a Pacifist Route, the objective is to cleanse monster-kind from the dark magic, however, in a Genocide Route the objective is to absorb DA, or 'Dark Energy'.
- Monster souls are purple if they bear dark magic.
